June Must-Reads

With June right around the corner, it’s time to start planning for the beach (check back for a beach-bag post). I’m thinking, what is more important for the beach, than a good book? (Well, besides sunblock, under SPF30) So, I’ve created a list of my June must-reads to get me through those warm beach days (or pool days for some). I’ve also included one, that I personally would recommend to you all!

#GIRLBOSS | It is a definite must-read for this month! I just bought it at the local Bookworks on Nantucket and I couldn’t be more excited! I’ve already started it! It’s about the founder of Nasty Gal and how she became such a badass and a #GIRLBOSS.

Dirty Rush | I’ve heard nothing, but good things about this book. It is suppose to be a great read and I’ve borrowed it from my friend (and it’s about time I gave it back to her haha).

Water for Elephants | One of my all-time favorite books! I think it is a must read for everyone! If you have not read it yet, get it for this summer, it’s worth every penny and page!

Tell Me Three Things | This book just looks really good. I can’t quite tell what it is, maybe its the (what looks to be) waffles on the front cover or the way the author entwines on gaining self-confidence and growing up into the book. It is definite must-read as well!

I’d love to hear what you all think of these books and what books you are all reading this summer?

  1. Absolutely loved Water for Elephants. It’s probably going to be on my list of recommended Summer Reads. I haven’t read any of the others you’ve suggested but they all look quite fun
