As we all know, Finals is approaching and god, is it stressful. I know I am not the only one who has tests, projects and papers all due the week before and during finals week. We are all stuffed with stress and coffee, well at least I know I am. So, here is a list of some things to help you get through finals week (and the last of the week leading up to).
1. Start studying now.
I know, we have spring weekend, but you have to get going now. You don’t want to wait until the day before and cram it all in. It’ll work better if you at least start now. Maybe review your notes, make a study guide, really anything.
2. Drink lots of coffee (or if tea is your thing)
I drink coffee like water and I am definitely not the only one out there! Drink it and stay awake. Use it as a secret weapon to get everything done. (stay hydrated as well) but drink drink your caffeine and get shit done!
3. You know that huge paper? Do it right now.
Stop procrastinating and get it done. You know you have a lot to write and you don’t need that C because you waited until the night before to write it. Do your research and write what you can now. Start it and then if you have to finish it the night before, that we will let go of. #NoJudgementThere
4. Make your to-do list
See, now if you’re anything like me, you use “making a to-do list” as procrastination to accomplishing anything on your to-do list. Don’t be like me. Jot down what you can and start it, you can always add to it later. (let me know in the comments if you love making lists like me haha)
5. Remember… summer is almost here
It might not feel like it with this weather, but summer is two weeks away…. yea… TWO WEEKS! That’s nothing. You may be like me and have an internship (deets soon to follow) and are taking summer classes. BUT its summer. You can still go to the beach, go on adventures, make some cash, and get a tan (that might just be how I want to spend my summer, but hey, who can resist a good tan)
ANYWHO, I hope you all make it through finals alive! If you need support you can find me in the library stressing out or at Starbucks figuring my life out!
What is getting you through finals week (and pre-finals)?
Let me know in the comments!
